A charitable organization, the ISCC’s main aim is to reduce juvenile delinquency throughout Illinois by fostering stronger relationships between young people and law enforcement, primarily through athletic activities.
However, the ISCC has also placed a focus on military veterans in recent years, partnering with Roosevelt University to ensure veterans have access to the workplace upon returning to civilian life. Through this partnership, the ISCC helps veterans access tuition-free educational programs via the university, and also holds careers fairs during which immediate employment of attendees is a possibility. Further, the ISCC works directly with veterans to help them obtain interviews for various positions and internships with companies throughout Illinois.
